And we are well aware that, as a customer, it can be a bewildering experience having to choose from all the eyewear options that are now available to you. Which is where we come in. When you come to see us, the first thing we will do is carry out a thorough eye exam, unless you've recently had one done elsewhere, in which case bring your prescription along for us to have a look at. We will then take the time to discuss your requirements in detail. Do you, for example, experience any problems with your current glasses or contact lenses? Do you play a lot of sport, or spend a lot of time in front of a computer or behind a steering wheel? We need to know all of these things in order to find exactly the right glasses or lenses for you.

If you are looking for a new pair of glasses, choosing the frames and finding a style that really suits you is the thing most people are most concerned about. But you will be in safe hands at Eyelink - our staff are expert at finding the frames that will work best with your colouring and the shape of your face. Being independent means we only buy contact lenses and glasses from the manufacturers we like. And because we are not tied to particular manufacturers, we only recommend what's right for you. We first opened in 1986 as part of a group of three independent practices. In February 2004 we decided to go it alone. As a result, we can now focus all our energies on getting the latest equipment and training for the team here in Cambridge.
