Founded in 2004, Explora was established to serve the in vivo research needs of drug discovery researchers. Explora aims to deliver top quality in vivo research capability and research infrastructure to our customers.

Explora BioLabs provides preclinical in vivo efficacy models in a variety of disease areas, including oncology, diabetes, wound healing and infection as well as pharmacokinetic and toxicology services and other customized preclinical pharmacology and consulting.

In addition to full service contract research, Explora also provide professionally managed, ready-to-use in vivo lab space (vivarium) for customers to use on a short term or long term basis. Currently, Explora operate 3 facilities, totaling 33,000 square feet of in vivo lab space in San Diego.
