EXCEL STAMPED CONCRETE
Tjenestebeskrivelse
Stamped concrete is a great addition to any property. Not only is it a cost-effective solution for any paved outdoor space, it can also be installed with a variety of colors, patterns, and styles. As a continuous surface made from the same material, stamped concrete is a highly durable and low-maintenance.
Installing a stamped concrete surface requires patience and precision. While the concept is simple enough, the installation is detailed and elaborate. DIY-minded individuals often misalign the stamp patterns, or misjudge the time needed for forming, stamping, and curing the concrete. A good concrete pattern looks great, but a hurried or inexact job is notable.
For these reasons it is a good idea to hire a licensed contractor to design and install stamped concrete. With years of experience, our professionals have the kind of knowledge, skill, and patience needed to not only install the concrete, but also pick a pattern that fits with the surroundings.BENEFITS OF STAMPED CONCRETE
Affordable – Compared with brick or concrete pavers, stamped concrete surfaces are affordable and easy to install. There is no need to seal the joints (although that is an option), and because the surface is a continuous slab of concrete, the installation process is generally less intensive.
Versatile – With a variety of stamp patterns and color schemes to choose from, stamped concrete surfaces are aesthetically versatile. Landscape designers will have a lot more to work with when trying to find a look that matches your home and outdoor spaces.
Durable – Stamped concrete is also more durable than brick or patio pavers. This is because the surface is not jointed together. It is made from a continuous layer of concrete that emulates natural stone.
Low-Maintenance – The same benefits extend to the maintenance of the surface. It is much more difficult for weeds to penetrate the surface or for water and ice to fracture the concrete.
STAMPED CONCRETE INSTALLATION
01. Assessment – The process begins with an inspection of the property. At this point, we will recommend several design choices for the outdoor space. Then, we will provide a cost estimate for the project.
02. Installation – The first task in installing the stamped concrete is to pour the concrete. Workers will clear the area, tamp down the soil, and lay a bed of compacted material for the concrete to sit on. The concrete will be formed to slope away from the home, ensuring water does not pool where it should not be.
03. Pattern – The concrete pattern needs to be stamped within a certain window of time so the material can dry evenly. Workers first pre-texture the perimeter of the slab, and then begin stamping a pattern into the concrete, slowly working in rows until the entire surface is filled.
04. Sealer – Once the slab has been stamped and cured, the concrete can be sealed with a finish coat. This process should occur after the concrete has dried and should be performed on a clean surface.

STAMPED CONCRETE MAINTENANCE
Wash – Maintenance for a stamped concrete patio is much easier than a brick or paver patio, but that does not mean there is no upkeep involved. It is recommended that owners regularly sweep and rinse the surface to maintain a clean appearance. Conventional power washing machines can cleanse the concrete, giving it an elegant and pristine appearance.
Reseal – Resealing the concrete every two to three years will prolong the life of the structure. It prevents oil stains from forming, while also protecting the material from sunlight and extreme weather. Sealants also keep water out, which can erode the concrete or crack it from freezing and thawing in cold temperatures.
Repair – It is important to repair cracks whenever they form. If left alone, the cracks will expand. Allowing moisture, weeds, and other intrusive elements into the concrete. If this happens, the lifespan of the material may decrease.
