Europafilter removes particulates as small as 10 Nano, Varnish, Water and Salt. Varnish being the main contributor to valve failure, Salt being the main contributor to problems in offshore, wind farm and marine hydraulic systems, but Europafilter does not remove any of the additives in oil. No other single filter can do this, you would normally have to invest in expensive multi-stage filtration, which could only remove particles down to 3 micron, thus, leaving damaging particles in the oil.
