El Wataneya for Mining and Quarries works in the field of research, extraction, preparation and upgrading of minerals in predominantly phosphate-rock in the Nile Valley Red Sea The Eastern Western desert. Owning 16 phosphate mines in the Nile Valley with an approximate total area of 300km2.
El Wataneya had recently acquired seven former government owned mines in East El Sebaiya, one of which; El Kelh has been operating for about 12 month. While a second Nagae is just at the beginning operations, the two mines each have a capacity of 50,000t/m.
El Wataneya for Mining and Quarries has extraction licenses for a further two of its mines, Omdondoba and Gabl Hegazy which it hopes to bring into production in the coming months. The two mines will each have about 50,000t/m production capacity. The company has exploration license only at present for the other three mines: El Khawa, El Owaineya, and El Sharawna. The seven mines have estimated total reserves of some 50 million tones of phosphate, according to our research and development sources.
El Wataneya for Mining and Quarries has a set of the most developed machinery for cracking, grinding and the sorting of phosphate, adding on a central giant crusher for re-crushing and grinding the raw materials in raising its quality's degree and analyzing system, The production capacity is estimated to be about 800 tons/hour. With laboratories that include very high technology for performing chemical analysis and the study of mineral raw materials in order to determine the grading of the crude. El Wataneya for Mining and Quarries exports the high grading of phosphate to the clients across the globe from East Asia and European countries as well as South America. With ongoing planning and execution of establishing a 500,000m2 project to produce phosphate fertilizers in East El Sebayia Aswan.
Elwataneya is producing phosphate rock from grades 24% P2O5 till 30% P2O5 to date, Elwataneya supplying middle east, Indea, Indonsea, Malasyia and local markets. Aiming to cooperate with Brazil, Europe with exporting capacity 80% from the mass production
El Wataneya use Sokhna port (approximately 40km south of port of Suez), Domietta port (on the Mediterranean coast), Elwataneya own a stake in the latter of Red Sea Port which near from Safaga, El Wataneya committed to provide clients with all facilities and documents desired to ensure shipping process goes smoothly
