Our beef cattle are naturally raised, more the old fashioned way. They are born here on the farm, spend their early spring on large breeding pastures til June with their moms, and then spend the summer in the ‘big high country’ eating a diverse diet of alpine grasses and sedges, with freedom to roam. In late fall they return to the valley pastures. They spend their winter enjoying summer harvested mixed grass hay and haylages, and anticipating the spring to come.
