An satcom antenna can be used for both transmitting and receiving signals from the satellite including GEO, LEO and MEO etc.. Based on function, it can be divided into Rx only and Tx/Rx type. Rx only of mainly for broadcast and Tx/Rx are mostly for communication and others. They can provide access to satellite communications even in harsh environments.
Types of Satcom Antenna
Dolph Microwave satcom antenna can be divided into 3 types including earth station antenna, flyaway(quick deploy) antenna and Motorized Quick Deploy Antenna. The frequency band are available in single band, dual band and multi band like C-band, Ku-band, Ka-band, X-band, S-band and also C&Ku, Ku&Ka and S&X dual band.
