By combining the assessment aspects of a multidisciplinary assessment center, the experiential learning of an adventure program, and the therapy and classroom academics of residential treatment, our program provides a very comprehensive solution for teens struggling with neurodevelopmental disorders. We put it all together into one comprehensive program driven by experienced experts on how best to assess and help your special student. Day, a psychologist and leading expert in assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders. Seven Stars’ outcome-driven, innovative Aspergers and Autism program design combines assessments with residential treatment and outdoor adventure experiences. We can work with students who require stabilization initially. These students will transition into the regime of the programming after they are stabilized. Assessments are carried out throughout our weekly rotation between three days of residential treatment and academic life and four days of outdoor adventure therapy activities. Our distinctive Aspergers and Autism program design provides formal multidisciplinary assessment, as well as holistic functional observation and assessment. It offers our team critical insights into functional strengths and needs and enables us to refine the accuracy of the child’s care and long-term recommendations.
