OCT or Optical Coherence Tomography, is an advanced technology used to examine all parts of the eye, from the cornea (front optical surface) and anterior segment all the way through to the layers of the retina and optic nerve. It is particularly useful for examining the retina and optic nerve, especially in cases of suspect macular degeneration and glaucoma.
