Screen Printer (or Stencil Printers) are used to deposit solder paste in precise quantity and location onto the printed circuit board (PCB). Stencil printers can also be used for printing adhesive with proper programming, squeegee, and stencil design.

Most screen printers are fully automatic and will handle everything from loading & unloading the PCB to aligning the fiducials with the vision to printing the solder paste with programmable parameters (speed, angle, pressure, etc). Common options include a 2D inspection to ensure print quality, vacuum stencil clean to clean the stencil between prints, and flexible PCB support options to make sure the PCB makes good contact with the bottom of the stencil.
