In 2000 we made the switch from a commercial Angus cross herd to a purebred Black Angus herd and began buying our seed stock from the Northern Highlights Sale as well as such established breeders as Gumbo Gulch, Poplar Meadows, Remitall, and Peak Dot. As a result of these purchases, we have been able to take advantage of the years of careful breeding and genetic selection that some of the country’s premier breeders have worked so hard to create. These females and their offspring now form the heart of our purebred herd.

Our bull genetics come from the offspring of the legendary TC Stockman 2164, MVBL Asset, Benchmark 007, TC Freedom 104, MVF Triumph 13L, Gumbo Gulch Wham 32L, SAV 004 Predominant 4438, Stevenson Bruno 6371 and HF Tiger. We have followed this example and have carefully selected our bulls to ensure calving ease, excellent maternal traits, high gain and top quality carcasses.
