Description du produit
Canron fabricated the deck of this bridge at its former False Creek, Vancouver, British Columbia plant. The bridge deck is constructed of constant depth twin plate girders with anchorage assembly for the cable stays and transverse floor beams. Canron fabricated 5500 metric tonnes of weathering steel into girders as large as 2.5 m deep x 25 m long. These girders weigh approximately 50 tonnes each. At the time of construction, Alex Fraser Bridge's 465 metre main span was the “largest span” cable-stayed bridge in the world.
