Clay has been used since prehistoric times to protect valuables such as grain, wine, oil and ancestral remains. Continuing an ancient tradition of marking the passing of loved ones, Tim Worthington creates these jars on the potter's wheel in his Mahone Bay studio using a Nova Scotia earthenware clay.
