Berica Cavi born in 1987 and from the very beginning based the production exclusively on special cables in the field of security, signaling, command and control, instrumentation and on specific requests by the customer.

In 1998 Berica Cavi is certified ISO 9002 by SGS ICS, an international certifying body. The certification is later being modified according to the new standard ISO/9001/2000.

In 2001 the extension of the plant reaches 12,000 sqm covered and the production cycle increases up to 24 hours.

From the year 2005 the company begins to acquire the most important marks with regards to the special cables and precisely the IMQ mark on FTG10(O)M1 0,6/1 kV fire resistant cables.

In 2007 the IMQ marks have been acquired on FG7OH2R 0,6/1 kV and FG7OH2M1 0,6/1 kV shielded cables.

In 2008 the IMQ and TUV marks are added on the solar cable FG21M21.

In the same year the quality system is adjusted according to the new ISO 9001/2008 by adding the design in the certification.

In 2009 the IMQ marks have been acquired on flexible flat cables H07VVH6-F suitable for bridge cranes, hoists and cranes and also on H05VVH6-F suitable for lifts and elevators.

In 2011 the company extends its specialization also to silicone and glass-fibre braid.

In 2012 the IMQ mark is acquired on FG4OHM1 fire resistant cables and then the mark UL on some specific personalized cables.

In 2013 Berica Cavi, in order to support the market expansion abroad, acquires some well-known marks as LPCB and GOST FIRES, and moreover incorporates FTC company specialized in cables required in 40 different foreign countries.

In 2014 Berica Cavi incorporates Fabbrica Trentina Conduttori (FCT) which becomes brand of Berica property.
