Alimex is a division of the Chilean holding group Multiexport, which has more than 25 years experience in the aquaculture and fisheries sector, concentrating their business today in salmon, canned and frozen seafood and dried seaweeds.

Business activities are carried out at Alimentos Multiexport through their offices, processing plants and supply centres all along the length of Chile, buying raw materials, processing them and exporting the finished products for distribution in North America, Asia and Europe.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Alimentos Multiexport has four processing plants in four different cities: Vallenar, Colina, Concepcion and Quellon. All together, they have an average of 700 workers. At these plants, raw materials such as shellfish and seaweeds, coming from both the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, are received and processed.
