At Yellow Bird Paper Greetings, a chi-chi concoction of girlish glamour, vintage imagery and witty sayings, culminate in a stationery collection that is high on style and serious sass.

Inspired by her children, world travels, and her own childhood, Charmaine Carlson uses both past and present experiences as her muse. Reaching into the past, she unearths nostalgic images, color palettes, typefaces and styles, which she then magically reinterprets in refreshingly modern ways.

With an inclination toward the creative arts, Charmaine earned a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing, and spent 10 plus years working in the business before the corporate culture began to have her yearning for freer pastures.

An infatuation with paper led to the creation of Yellow Bird Paper Greetings in 2002. Originally supplying a handful of North American retailers with handmade, hand-embellished greeting cards, that were celebrated for their combination of sass and sophistication, the demand for these chi-chi concoctions was exceptional. Not one to stand on her laurels, Charmaine channeled her creative talents and in 2004 launched an all new printed collection which consisted of 16 greeting cards. This launch ultimately led to the Yellow Bird Paper Greetings global recognition and the collection, as it stands today, of 1000 plus items.

Yellow Bird Paper Greetings hasn't flown too far from its' beginnings. All of our products continue to be manufactured in North America. Using only the highest quality papers. We believe it's best to manufacture high-quality greeting cards and stationery products that benefit our friends, neighbors and the earth. Nestled in the foot hills of North Vancouver, British Columbia Yellow Bird Paper Greetings is still headed by its founder Charmaine Carlson.
