I. Machine description

1. Main performance and use of machine tools

G800CNC is a six-axis CNC gear hobbing machine with five CNC axes as follows

A - tool holder angle adjustment movement, B - hob spindle rotation, C - table rotation movement, X - radial feed movement, Y - tangential feed movement, Z - axial feed movement. Each CNC motion axis of the machine is driven by independent AC servo motor, and the "Electronic Gear Box (EGB)" is used to realize indexing motion and differential compensation to complete the machining of various tooth parts by the spreading method.

a. Machine layout: the machine adopts vertical layout with large column movement to complete the radial feed motion; the electrical control box of the machine is left rear; the hydraulic, lubrication and cooling of the machine are completely independent systems.

b. Machine axes and related motions.

A-axis: AC servo motor is used to realize automatic adjustment of tool holder angle, and the angle adjustment process is automatically executed by CNC system.

B-axis: Directly driven by direct-drive motor and equipped with automatic spindle overload monitoring and alarm device.

C-axis: The table is directly driven by direct drive motor to achieve high precision indexing.

X-axis: Adopt AC servo motor through the precision ball screw vice with preload, and the screw support axis adopts high precision and high rigidity combination bearing. The guide rail adopts large section square hard rail structure.

Z-axis: Adopt AC servo motor through the precision ball screw vice with preload, and the screw support axis adopts high precision and high rigidity combination bearing. The guide rail adopts square hard rail structure.

Y-axis: AC servo motor is used to realize hobbing scamper through precision ball screw sub with pre-load, to ensure uniform tool wear, improve tool life and reduce equipment usage cost.

c. Machine structure features: the main castings are designed with double wall and high ribbed plate structure, which ensures both rigidity and stability, and the circulating cooling of cooling oil ensures the thermal balance of the machine.

d. Up and down movement of the top: high precision and high rigidity hard rail is adopted, and the up and down movement of the top is realized by hydraulic cylinder. (Customized version can be without tailstock)
