About Toronto Brewing: Founded in 2011, Toronto Brewing has become Canada's local beer brewing supplies superstore. A source for everything homebrewing, nanobrewing, kegging, drafting and even beer brewing classes to help up your game! The beginnings of Toronto Brewing date back to 2008 when Zack Weinberg (founder of Toronto Brewing) began his homebrewing journey. What began as an attempt to brew top quality West Coast IPAs resulted in Zack discovering his true calling; beer. A few years past and Zack's skills continued to grow and in 2011 there came a tipping-point - Zack's homebrew supply requirements finally outgrew what was available online in Canada. It was then that he realized that the next logical step was to open a homebrew store that could cater to new homebrewers and experiened brewers alike. Originally a one-man online operation, Toronto Brewing has grown to the point where we now offer an online and retail experience like no other, supported by a team of experienced beer brewing staff. December 2013 marked a huge milestone for Toronto Brewing with the opening of a brand new retail store offering a huge selection of beer brewing equipment, ingredients, experienced advice and insights from seasoned pros. To compliment our huge selection of beer brewing supplies, we've also started to offer weekday evening classes taught by BJCP certified judges and weekend demonstrations by seasoned homebrewers. Our selection of hops ranges from all of the classics to exotic hops from around the world. We also feature an international selection of grains and the freshest yeast in town. Our selection of brewing equipment ranges from entry level to the complete line of Blichmann Engineering and Better Bottle products. And for the beginner or novice homebrewer we offer a variety of starter equipment and recipe kits to make it easy to get into the hobby. We also cater to more experienced brewer's looking to build advanced all-grain nanobreweries or add new bells and whistles to their existing kits. As a part of the local Toronto craft brew scene, we often collaborate with Toronto's most experimental craft breweries and raddest homebrewers. Our beers have been featured on tap at some of the most exclusive bars and tastings in Toronto.
