Wing Tat was founded in Hong Kong in 1988 by our Chairman Mr. Yuen Po Chu, as a mold manufacturer from china. In 1995, the company started the plastic injection molding business. In 1998, the company moved all production facilities to mainland China, and its headquarter is still located in Hong Kong. Since its establishment, the company has been in the plastics industry for more than 30 years. The achievements and experience in precision mold manufacturing and precision plastic product injection molding have been widely recognized by the Hong Kong industry, with customers in Asia, Europe and the United States.
In 1998, the company opened its own factory in Dongguan, China with floor area; more than 4,800 square meters, and trained a group of high standard management personnel, experienced engineers and technical staff , technicians and skillful workers; at the same time, our marketing staff is in close contact with the customers to understand the their needs and to provide feasible solutions to solve customer manufacturing challenges.
The company has moved from Tangxia Sicun to Tangxia Lincun since 2018. Factory floor area is over 10,000 square meters and Wing Tat has installed a great deal of imported and high-precision manufacturing machines and testing equipements, together with advanced CAD/CAM software systems such as UG NX12 and MoldFlow analysis system and also some sophisticated processing technologies.
We have developed into a modern enterprise integrating product design, plastic injection mold design, plastic mold manufacturing, product assembly, spray painting, pad printing and packaging operations. So far, it has more than 70 injection molding machines from Japan, Germany, Taiwan, China, etc., which can fully meet the high quality and high efficiency requirements of customers and continuously provide our best service.
Wing Tat has acquired ISO9001 certification since 2001, and upgraded to version ISO9001:2015 in 2018. We started to use ERP 6.0 system in 2006 and upgraded to ERP9.0 in 2019, so that the company management and operation will rise to another new level ! Plastic Injection Molding Process
Once your plastic injection mold tools are ready, the molding process consists of the following basic steps:
Step 1. The plastic resin comes in raw pellets. These are dried to the right moisture content, and then if necessary they can be blended with pigments or master batch colorants.
Step 2. The dried pellets are poured into the hopper of the molding machine. A reciprocating screw inside the barrel of the machine will transport these pellets towards the mold.
Step 3. Within the barrel, the pellets are mixed and heated until fully molten, forming the liquid resin.
Step 4. The heated mold closes automatically and resin, under great pressure, is injected through a gate and into the mold cavity.
Step 5. The mold is cooled to solidify the part inside.
Step 6. The mold opens and the part is ejected to begin a new cycle.
