Sovereign Grace Baptist Church located in Granbury, TX. was established November 1, 2013 as an Independent Local Congregation of believers that hold to the inerrancy of Scriptures and the preservation of the Word of God in the King James Version 1611 for all teachings as the best translation for English speaking people. We are a Christ-centered, family oriented, church that still sings the old hymns and believes God changes sinners and works miracles! We believe and regularly preach the doctrines of the Apostles which are commonly called the "Doctrines of Grace".

We are a local congregation of followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. We hold to the distinctives of believer's baptism by immersion and the autonomy of the local church. We believe that salvation is a sovereign work of God's amazing grace to man. We are united by faith to Christ and to one another in fellowship to serve God through continued prayer, through teaching and preaching the truth of God as seen through His Holy Word. Our Almighty God is sovereign in all things, specifically in creation, providence, election, and salvation (Romans 8:28-30 and 11:33-36). He has a sovereign plan for our lives and we invite you to join us in serving our Marvelous, Glorious, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Our pastor is Dr. Michael Reuterskiold who has pastored churches in Wisconsin, California, and in Texas. He also serves as the Dean of Landmark Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
