We are a boutique winery located at the Southern end of the Heathcote Wine Region in Central Victoria, Australia. The vineyards and winery are owned and run by the Baumgartner family. The vineyards were established in 1999 and first vintage was in 2002. The vineyards are run using organis and some biodynamic practices, although not certified. Traditional methods are used in the winery where everything is done by hand, the wine is made in small batch open fermenters and basket pressed. The wines are matured in a mix of French American Oak barriques for a minimum of 18 months. The bottling is done by hand, and at present corks are used. The aim is make the best wine possible given the season and the pride and passion for making wine from our hand tended vines shows in the beautiful products, our please is seeing others enjoy our wines.
