R Promotions was started in 2006 by Jenna Brown, after having worked in the promotion industry for four years. Through experience in the industry, we realised there was a demand for a promotions company that not only focused on providing personalised, quality attention for clients but also one that focused on treating its staff well. Rather than putting all our attention into getting enormous volumes of jobs, we wanted to focus on core clients with a core team of only the best staff. We firmly believe that if a company treats its staff well, they will perform in return. Our clients expect the best, and that is what we give them. By using our core staff for all our events, we make sure that only the best service is delivered at all times. Our founder Jenna Brown as an entrepreneur has a phenomenal work ethic and puts her heart and soul into every project. Over the last few years, JR Promotions has grown far beyond our expectations. We’ve seen our client base develop from smaller players to significant events launched by some of South Africa’s most prominent companies and brands like General Motors and SABMiller. We retain our clients through our ethos of providing exceptional standards of service delivery at all times, our attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Every promoter is interviewed, screened and trained before engagement in brand activations is approved. We conduct regular promoter training sessions with our entire staff compliment and take pride in ensuring that all promoters are equipped with the necessary brand knowledge required for a successful activation.
