The Energy Industries Council is the largest Trade Association in the UK for companies servicing the needs of the energy industry world-wide. Member companies include contractors, manufacturers and service companies employing 450,000 with a turnover in excess of £20 billion of which exports account for over £5.5 billion. The EIC's role is to identify and maximise business opportunities throughout the world. To achieve this aim the EIC arranges exhibition, seminars and Trade Missions to many parts of the World. A core service is the dynamic Project Database tracking up to 2000 projects world-wide. The database is updated on a weekly basis to ensure up to the minute marketing intelligence. The EIC operates a members capabilities register with some 3000 topic headings enabling equipment and service to be sourced quickly.
