The company began its operation in 1974 under the name PIERBITHERM ΟΕ. in the field of manufacturing electrical water heaters and wooden water heaters. In 1980 it became ELBITHE SA., and at the same time embarked on the manufacture of solar water heaters. It acquired its final corporate form in 1987 under the name EBIL SA. Today EBIL SA. is active manufacturing electrical heaters, boilers and solar systems. A 2nd company EBIL SMALTA S.A. was created in 2003 in water heaters and boilers industry
