Design AIDD was founded on the principle that successful projects are built upon the high quality of integrated design and the philosophy that the building process only works through strong collaboration, between architects, engineers and developers. We maintain loyal relations with several other offices and numerous colleagues whom we provide consulting services.

The acronym AIDD stands for the first letter initials of the firm's founding partners Andrea Harris, Ian Pinto, David Kirschenbaum and Dan Heyden, who have worked together for over 15 years. Their combined architectural experience spans more than 90 years. Two of the principals are accredited under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification program (LEED).
