Computer Technology Services brings together a unique mix of computer, web technology and electronics skills and combines them with marketing, business and financial management expertise to create one of the most experienced IT support organisations for small and medium sized businesses in the North East of England. We have over 30 years experience in designing IT solutions and supporting a vast array of computer systems for businesses of all sizes. Qualifications in accountancy and business management ensure the highest standards of competence and confidentiality and makes CTS one of the few dedicated computer support organisations to be professionally regulated. Our aim, for our smaller clients, is that we become the economic alternative to an in-house IT department providing all the services and resources to be expected from such a department at a fraction of the cost. For our larger clients we provide a valuable addition to their IT department's support infrastructure as well as alleviating product sourcing problems.
These days, businesses have to compete in globally competitive markets and, therefore, only the very best Information Technology systems are good enough to ensure sustainable business advantage. These systems need to be maintained and developed by experienced specialists who are not only technically trained but are also aware of the particular needs of their clients and their clients' businesses. The fact the we are a small organisation ourselves and that we have been supporting small and medium sized businesses for over 30 years enables us to appreciate the pressures and demands under which they operate. We provide total solutions from initial system specification and design, through installation, operator training, networking, repairs, support etc. Our extensive list of accreditations and manufacturer/supplier contacts enables us to supply and support a huge range of computer hardware, software and supplies at competitive prices enabling us to provide a complete service to our clients. Providing outstanding customer service is fundamental to our business philosophy and we pride ourselves on not leaving any problem, that is capable of being solved, unresolved.
Generally, we work on an annual support contract basis although we do work for non-contracted clients if required. Our contracted clients receive :- *Priority support and are guaranteed a maximum of 8 working hours turnaround although we average well inside this as we are able to solve a lot of contracted clients problems using Remote Assistance technology. This enables us to see the problem on our in-house system and if necessary take control and rectify the problem without leaving the office *Discounts on hardware, software, supplies and our labour charges *Access to all areas of this website including the rapidly expanding knowledge base of non-technical tips, tricks and techniques to make their lives a little easier *Take advantage of our knowledge and that of our manufacturers and suppliers including our extensive library *Our newsletter, Micronews, keeps them up-to-date with advances in IT technology as well as new operational techniques and ideas for improving workflow etc to help keep them at least one step ahead of their competition. *Our 'ad hoc' Security Alert bulletins which advise them of new security threats, how to avoid them and how to recover from an attack if it happens. *Working with our IT partners such as Microsoft, HP, CMS, Symantec etc. we are able to resolve problems extremely quickly. We also have an extensive support library and worldwide Internet contacts which enable us to solve the more unusual problems. On top of this we have extensive experience in programming and configuring bespoke solutions.
