'm Leslie Sherwin owner of Chaise Fashion located in Gibsonia, PA. I design and handcraft a unique, fashionable HOME & TRAVEL PET MAT. I started by making mats for outdoor chaises. What I found was my dog Ace and cat Peanut would not get off of the mats while I was sewing them. This includes Peanut sitting on them while they were still attached to my sewing machine. So I learned quickly I was not going to win the battle of who gets to use the mats, me, my customers or my pets. MY PETS WON! So to make them happy and comfortable, I designed and began to make the HOME & TRAVEL PET MAT. I tried to think of every possible way to address the needs of my pets, both, at home (including designing it to match my home or patio décor) or while they are on the go with me. This is especially important since they are both getting up there in years.
